need help with song mode

what up yall i 'm using fruity loops 4 right know to produce songs but i'm havng problems, how do you create a song so the you can sequence it out, it dont say in the help thing

i believe if you right-click on the little numbers that select which bar your working on it should pop up a window that lets you set up the song.
