I dont get how guys like primo or 9th chop up their samples.
I mean sure they chop it in a way it makes sense but let me explain my problem: First of all im on FL creating a drum beat , then switch over to Wavelab while FL is playing and chop " on the fly" while the beat is playing.
It is actually working quite well but if i pitch up the first sample split in fruity to be about one bar long, i run into serious problems with the upcoming splits because then i dont really know how long they would be after i have pitched them up to the setting of the first. So is there any way i could predict the pitched sample lenght in my editor? I am willing to switch to another editor if that is a solution...

dont worry bout the editor. use the slicer embedded in fl with your basic loop. then on the options, use "high sensitivity", and make sure "play all" is highlighted. here, no matter how you pitch up/down the sample, its easier to hear and see when it ends...much less of a headache.

you're lucky...some people would've gotten mad at u and said "this is an mpc forum...not a F**KIN FL FORUM!!"

thats not me, just what some people would do
