That's a nice keyboard, learn how to program it to make the sounds you want, learn what you got to know what you need.

No amount of equiment is gonna make ur meldodies sound tighter.
You have to be born with an ear for it.
I know cats with all the equiment in the world and their composititons still sound like do-do

Also, what type of sound are you after. If you are wanting Rhodes & Hammonds you won't get those on an Alpha Juno. I love the Roland Junos. I've got a Juno 60 & the MKS-50 which is the module version of the Alpha Juno, but there are a lot of sounds I also use which I just can't get from those.
Like Classic was suggesting, it might also be a case of learning a bit of basic music theory.

the juno is perfect for pads and leads and basses providing you want that synthy sound- i use mine for all those and rely on samples and my vintage keys for real instrument emulation- the melody really does rely on the right sound so get the sound in your head first then you'll know whether you need to program it on the juno or find a similar sound on a sound module- just learn how to program the thing or perhaops try and find some peopls patches on the net- if i rememeber rightly there is a new bank of presets out for t including some nice vangelis pads...

I mean thats fine, but if u dont have the abilitiy it wont matter.
Ive made some banging ish using a cheap ass casio keyboard as my controller. The only way the feel of the keys is going to effect u is if your really getting into complicated chourd progressions and melodies.
Im not hating or nothing, just want u to know all the new keys in the world wont mean ish if u aint got the skills....

yeah i really wouldn't worry about key quality- may as well go buy a weighted grand emulation if you are that worried...
