Static is ruining my life

I still can't solve the problem, someone said to change the rca cable, but on the technics its internal i have that running to line one and theres a clean connection. then from the mixer i have the chords that came with the mpc plugged into the mixer. If someone could expand on what they mean by saying "grounded" thatd be great cuz I'm gettin so damn pissed that I have a bunch of hot beats but they all sound like shit.

there should be three cords coming out of your technics turntable.

1) the power cord, the one thatp lugs into the wall outlet

2) the RCA cord, which splits into a white and a red end

3) a small thin wire with a hook on the end of it. If its an old table, the hook on the end might be snapped off, but there should still be this small thin wire...THIS IS YOUR GROUND WIRE.


On the back of your DJ mixer, you should see something that says "GND". The small thin wire from your turntable is supposed to wrap around/latch onto the thing on the DJ mixer where it says "GND". Get it...the "GrouND wire" connects to the "GND".

Try that.
I cant put it any more simply.

theres another problem. Your turntable should be plugged into PHONO ONE not LINE ONE.
PHONO = PHONOGRAPH = TURNTABLE

LINE ONE IS FOR LINE LEVEL SIGNALS, LIKE A CD PLAYER OR SAMPLER OR SOMETHING OTHER THAN A TURNTABLE...TURNTABLE SHOULD ALWAYS PLUG INTO PHONO.
