Best sampler (not seq.) Hardware or Software?

Word up people, I really appreciate
all the info to help me decide on this.

On tha CPU taxing issue:
some folks say Mach5 is tha hog, some
say it's Kontakt.

All seem to agree that, even if you
run your DAW on a PC, you should
get another box to run giga.

I get the idea that the 4000 is
basically a Z series with an MPC
interface.
What I don't feel cool about is
expecting it to load a comparable
library to Giga or Kontact.
Not that the hardware libraries aren't good,
but I have yet to see anyone load huge multi-layer
samples w/ extensive velocity mapping into
an akai product. Yes, it can do it, but who's really
programming a 9Gig orchestral samplebank for
akai? I dunno tho, if someone knows otherwise, please
put me on.

This is dope tho. I guess I am now
on tha fence over Mach5 and Kontact, but
either way, I think it's time for a new computer....
