Ok...
Question: How do i cut a loop to exactly 8 bars (or 4 or even 2) within a program like Sound Forge or Recycle? My example would be if i was to have a recording off of my turntables that i wanted to sample. The sample is just a rough idea and is surrounded by a couple bars i dont want. When i import the recording into Sound Forge i want to be able to cut the sample to EXACTLY 8 bars so that i can acurratly time stretch, pitch shift the loop or match tempo. Lately i have just been doing it by ear but this process is not exactly scientific. If there is any easier way to do this i would really appreciate the shared knowledge.

Thanks,
