Fat Westcoast Clappy Snare

u know the types iam talking about?
The kind that been used by battlecat, dj quik and dem.

Where can i get that kinda sound from?
Wat do they start of with wen creating them sounds?

find a fat snare and two claps, layer and offset a couple of ticks, I usualy put the snare first but experiment and see what you like

place your first snare at 1/16 and then set the quantize to 1/32t and place the next snare off by one note or tick enlarge the graph you will see what im talking about then just tune the sound till you get it how you like
