those are the straight facts comin straight from Chad himself i read it in a neptunes Interview ...they also use alot of old analog synths so trying to imitate their sound could be a problem

yeah pharell uses the subtractor for basslines apparantly, but who cares!! use what ever works for you, i got plugs to samps of all types of basslines and synths, just got to know how to tweak em.
