yo can someone please explain how you can basically muffle the vocals in a sample to use the bassline but can you explain it either using the mpc or sonar or soundforge or tell me if this is even possible and if you can kind of detailed i would appreciate it

Congratulations on taking the next step in sampling. Filtering. The Mpc 2000xl allows you to do this mad easy. Assuming you have the effects card installed and know how to send effects, go to the filter screen and turn up the low end filter, and decrease the high end. Fruck wit it until the voice is at its lowest while the bass is at its highest. Most likely you will still hear the vocals at a very low tone, and the bass may sound a bit "wack"(E.Q.'ing it to perfection is all up to you).I think you could also slightly filter vocals on the params screen, i'm not so sure tho, but you should consider getting a piece of gear dedicated to filters.
