Try keeping a notepad around......when you're listening to music, or whatever - if an idea pops into your head, or if you hear something you wanna sample, write it down. Then when you get in front of the MPC, you'll have ideas ready to go.


Also, just take some days to do only sampling. Just sample sounds without trying to make beats.
Then take some days to only make beats from the sounds you have sampled already.

Try doing something else creative. When I can't get the music flowing, I draw or paint (walls). Just using the creative parts of your brain for anything else will make using those same parts of your brain for other things easier.

go to a live show or concert (of a band), that usally gets me back on track.
