Yo, I just got an ASR-10 and I figured I would use it mainly for basslines and synth shit.

I hooked it up thru midi to my MPC2000 hoping I would be able to "record" my bass from the ASR-10 into whatever sequence im doing on the MPC.

Is it possible to play and record my bassline from the ASR-10 thru midi, save the .ALL and .APS files (like I usually do), load up the beat and the bassline is still there or how does it work?

Please break it down for me :D

If this is not possible, can somebody else recommend a way to use the potential of the ASR-10 with my MPC?

I really wanna combine the two

Holla back!

Some1 really just needs to write an MPC + ASR 10 faq or manual thing. Seems like lots of people are lost on how to use the two in coordination.
