Is the only way for me to hear all of my tracks coming from one source is to route everything to a mixer. If so once I do that where do i connect the monitor speakers at what cables would i need?

Where do i connect a dat recorder or cd recorder on a 24 track mixer?

Ok, all "good" studio mixers are fully equiped, with all the slots you will need, to make your sound. The monitors will come off your Balanced out, this is the microphone looking jack. The dat will come directly off your digital out, if your mixer has this option, and your cd, or tape out will come out of that corasponding output. If you look at the controll panel of the mixer, you should see these outputs/inputs labled, and in plain sight.

A mixer is very diverse, and really can be rigged any way. Even if you dont have the proper connecs, you can improvise!
