can't hear drumkit...

for all reason users,

was wondering why i can't hear the samples from the redrum kits with my midi keyboard...

on the hardware interface in reason i've got my midi channels set up right, matched up with the channels on my keyboard... this i know because on channel one i'm messin with a synth, channel two another synth, but on channel three where i set up my redrum kit i can't hear any of the samples... tried moving it around to a different channel with no luck...

am using a keyboard and i know i'm close because i can hear the other sound modules but just not the redrum kits... any suggestions would be much appreciated...

turn around the redrum and make sure everything is connected properly

i had reason for a day got frustrated and quite casue i couldnt hear shit, but that was back when i had no instructions and no internet lol

good point cash... i don't own any external rack gear and don't really know how to connect ****... any suggestions on doing it properly? i'm about to read up on it but any help would be cool...

hit tab when in reason, and make sure the "virtual" wires are connected.

If memory serves me correctly, and do to the haze thats been floating around here, it prolly doesn't, but I think there is an option somewhere in there to automatically connect the wires, when adding a new device.

open up reason. make a mixer, then make a redrum, then make a synth. Down in the sequncer part, make sure whatever rack your using is highlighted by the lil keyboard button next to the record button for the track. Then you will be on that channel. Also midi note 36 is reasons first one, or c1 on the keyboard.
