i have been tracking beats into dp4.6 for about a month... now i am ready to mix down and get them on cd.... now the problem is i bought this from somebody so i dont have the manual .. my question is how do i convert a beat mixed down on dp to mp3.. its only giving me these wierd formats to save to.. can someone please explain this to me.. i rather not drive to 45 minut4es to guitar center to get the book..

u mean .aaf ?? i dont see aaif.. just aaf interchange

ok it is pretty involved process.


step 1)bounce to disk, select import into soundbites



step 2)select new file in soundbite widow.


step 3)press the mini menu button


step 4)choose export soundbite


step 5)name file, and choose mp3 file format from menu at the bottom



you have a shady copy of DP. You should register it, then they will sell you a manual.

yo thanx alot... i figured out u have to highlight the track to bounce to disk... so im good now... i just saved to aaif..
