sequencing tip?? good way to copy tracks to diff seqs on 400

on 4000??? I want to know if there is a efficient way to copy tracks to a new sequence i am using an mpc 4000 also on the 4000 maybe this applies to the other mpcs when i copy a track to a different sequence it wont save the track parameters from the other sequnce like if my track was set to midi out b or a and when i copy in the step edit window using copy to the new sequence it wont copy the new parameters..........

also i would like to know if anyone has a more efficent way of copying 16 bar sequence i like to write a keyboard progression that leads into bar 9 then through to 16(so actaully i want to copy 8 bars to a new sequce) can someone give me a better way to copy bars 9-16 to a new sequence so i dont have to copy each individual track using copy to in step edit to a new sequence this is a pain if i have multiple tracks is this the only way to do it or not?????

First sequence edit copies midi events not the track miid port setting you have to do that yourself study midi.


Second if you go into the bar block in the Main page under you can edit the bars (which contains all the tracks) Copy the sequence to several new sequences then go into the bar settings and edit how you want. This is within the users manual.

Step edit is for editing midi events on a single track. Bars is for editing in a sequence all the mpcs have the same system. Please read the manual. You are doing too much.
