I like to take a 4 bar melody, copy it to multiple tracks, and pitch it a few different ways. Then time stretch it so I can play it out in different keys.
I'm curious if it would sound better to time stretch first (or use the original bpm), and copy it to a few different tracks, each going through it's own real-time pitch correction plug-in.
I'm going to try some different shit tonight and see what happends. Let me know if anyone has tried something like this.
