strange looping question.

this is hard to explain.... ive got a sample but the start of the sample is one beat before the bar. when i record it to a sequence I have to trigger the sample on the 4th beat for it to be in place. I then get the right BPM etc so I have a loop playing, but when I play the sequence again later theres obviously a silence for the first 3 bars until the sample kicks in...

My question is, what do I have to do for the sequence to play continuously from the start without waiting for the sample to kick in???

Chop it up. Chop the 1st bar of the loop. leave the other 3 intact. Start the sequence with the 3 bar and add the 1st bar at end. basically reconstruction.

Go into your TRIM screen, chop off the beginning (before the bar), paste it to the end of the sample.

See if this works.

Yeah this has caught me out a few times!

What I do is record the sample playing as a loop. Then I edit a new 1 bar loop from that which starts on the first beat of the bar.
