I think it's a piece of what you said. I sold it a week ago. This is my second Mbox. I'm running Logic Pro 7 and no problems whatsoever. I have the Powerbook G4 12" 1.33ghz w/ 2gb ram. I was gonna take the Pro Tools course online with the Mbox 2, but Berklee slept on my application for January.

Anyone who what's cracking with this? or is this mbox a piece of 5hit?

Believe it or not just playback of imported audio. Do you have AIM? PM me with it.

link to page: http://www.digidesign.com/compato/xp/68/mbox2/

look under "Known Incompatibilities," on the left hand side of the page near the bottom. Its the 5th bullet on that page.

the fact that PT installed and launches leads me to believe that the fact that digi doesnt support it is not really the issue at this pint. There have been many cases of people runnin PT with laptops known to be troublesome, just another great digi feature, the "cross your fingers and hope shiz works" feature...
