I've found a good deal on the bay for a collection of Smack DVD's but do you think it's worth it? The reason I ask is because I love the studio stuff I've seen but I don't really need a bunch of clowns jumping around bigging themselves up. Don't hate 'cause I'm in Australia and it's not like we can walk into a store and pick them up... And I know I can buy one and see but it's a birthday present so I wanna do it properly.

Peace

NO. its only a couple of clips of producers actually making tracks(Heatmakerz,Dr. period, Just Blaze) and the rest is mainly Mixtape artist who either had or have a buzzz on the mixtape circuit and u got some of your favorite artist talkin about life in the industry and life on the streets and a few freestyle battles..... I would say if ur lookin 4 rap battles email me and let in on a couple secrets so u dont have waste 100 Bucks......

I have smack dvd 1 thru 11

Thanks for that guys, I'm not too into the mixtape scene- not much of it makes it out here anyway so I don't imagine it would make much sense... I'm just a sucker for seeing producers in their studio! I don't know why I just dig it...
Peace, time to find something else to blow my money on!

excellent decision!! the majority of those dvd's are unknown rappers talking lots of shit like they're super thugs. lots of really wack rapping too but more tough guy talk than anything. 90% of the time if theres some producer stuff on them somebody puts that section on the net as a mpeg.
