Name me sum known 9th Wonder beats

He did a track on De La Soul's last album (The Grind Date) called Church I believe...

9th is a tight producer, the reason you have a lot of haters is because he uses the same drums... Hell... Lil Jon uses the same synth but he got a cover on Scracth mag and other accolades... 9th represents real hip hop and you need to stop hating and support them cats... Thats the only way we can get this other bull**** off the radio and TV....

The album The Listening- Little Brother is a classic piece!!! love the Instrumentals off that album....

The Listening is classic, I still listen to it from time to time, but I still don't like it (don't dislike it either).
Still don't feel they are 9th's best tracks.

Funny how people get a 9th so much, he already says he's coming at you from that TCQ, Pete Rock, Premo sound, and that's where here's at.
As someone else stated, he's seems to be driven by the artist for how he delivers.
Lots of producers are repetitious in their use of some element in their tracks but still that's not a reason to dismiss the overall sound they deliver.

Me personlly I wish all Premo drums sounded like the drums in Take It Personal, that's sh*t was just so gutter

As for Threat, it just the stop and go drums from Nas Is Like, with some change up overlays.
Take Jay off the track and listen to it, he a distraction to the beat.

9th has a certain formula he uses for beats, but it comes out great. It is like old boom bap with those soul samples (Not just chipmunks.) He has worked with tons of plp over the last few years. Don't hate on the man.

i respect how hiz out there getting paid with his fruity and cool edit doing wat he wanna do. but personaly i just dont feel dem kinda beats, they just sound cheap and underground. maybee coz im not into the whole eastcoast/old school sounding hiphop.

True to that. Everyone has their own taste. His beats do sound kinda cheap. But anyone who is allowed to stay at Pete Rock's house for 3 days just colloborating on beats and rhymes is crazy to me. (The beats from their class in session disc are prtty crazy.)

not no hater on 9th but aint nuthin special bout his beats that we aint heard from pete already...but i did like that murs lp alot......

the sh!t that always gets me its that NOW its ok for people to use FL. I remember before he even blew up, I used the same sh!t, FL and CEP, but n!ggas wouldnt give me the time of day when I would say what I use. Now, you say you use FL and CEP and people are like "oh thats what 9th uses, thats wassup". I think the fact that he uses FL blew him up more than his talent. When I listen to his stuff, I could hear how he made the beats and I dont really get impressed. I'm not hating on him. I'm hating on all the d!ck riding that goes on in hip-hop (no homo).
