one more midi question

i have the mpc 2000xl, korg drum machine, a yamaha keyboard, and a korg 12 track digital recorder. i am trying to have them all synched up via midi. but am confused and have been for a long time on how to dasiy chain.
i have the mpc as the master with midi a to the recorder and b to the korg drum machine. i want to have the keyboard in this but am not sure how to hook it up because i used up the mpc's in ands outs.
i think maybe i hook it up to the drum machine thru?
would i put the midi in from the keyboard into the thru of the drum machine?
i would greatly appreciate some help.

You might need a midi merge box because you do not have enough ins and outs on the MPC, but I an not really sure what you want to do. I wouls sample the living hell out of that drum machine and sell it if I were you. Does the keyboard have a thru?

Are you trying to sync up the drum machine or use the pads to trigger it? You can use the thru, but that midi merge will be needed to merge the outs from the board and the drum machine.

yeah i am trying to synch them up. like playing a drum line or a keyboard part and recording it on the mpc. when i say recording it, i guess i mean the midi notes, so when you press play on the mpc it will trigger the right notes on the other machines, it works great when it is hooked up, but i have only been able to synch one machine at a time. both the drum machine and keyboard have thru's, i have never used a thru though i have tried to figure it out. any way the goal is to have the recorder hooked up to midi a of the mpc, and the drum machine hooked up to midi b on the mpc. then somehow have the keyboard hooked up via the thru on the drum machine. i hope i am being somewhat more clear. it is hard to type exactly what i mean but i think that is it. anyway thanks for the input i appreciate it.
