makin drum tracks (patterns)

When I make my drum trackz this is what I do.......I put my drums on the 2kxl and I put it all on one track at first but I play them out as if I were drumming this way I cant over program.......someone said a drummer only has two hands and this is why I program like this.......afterwards i mix it out onto the 8out board to eq it how I need it......its not easy at first but it becomes easy after a while.........but thats me tho

actually i was playin the drums since i wuz 8, but apparently yall misunderstood me. The way it wuz meant wuz i neva played or used an mpc and wuz actually gonna get 1 real soon, so i neva used 1 and i wouldnt know how ez or hard it is.
No hard feelings tho its all good and i understand yall tryin 2 help (at least i think) so i'll leave it at dat.

i think if youve played the drums, you should have no problem. The mpc is pretty much perfectly designed for drums-playing them live

I have never actually played drums, until after i got my mpc-when i did and practiced a bit, my mpc drums definately got better-and i can play the piano better too cause of timing coordination.

anyways, i would say just play the mpc like your drums that way they come out nice and realistic.

Some good things to think about though are velocity differances-it is always good to have like 4 differant variations of the same high hat , like 2 slightly differant snares programed to the pads. This will help with the sonic livelyness of the drums. You can get a realistic "groove" with your playing skills, but you need the acoustics for the real drum kit sound too. ya know?
