???ANOTHER PRO TOOLS QUESTION???

I have a little problem, maybe someone here could help me. While I record I get a weird humming sound in the background. Does anyone know why? I can hear it when I burn it on CD, it really pisses me off. If anyone had this problem, please help a brother out. Thanks!

what's your set up? Usually the more stuff you have, the more the chance for hum. It could be cables, a piece of gear, or the power outlets you have stuff plugged into. I had the same problems and I had to get somebody to wire my sh#t.
