Whats the best way to get the Camron 'oh boy' type vocal effect on a vocals sample (where it's pitched up but still in time)?

real easy /push the 16 levels button,turn the (param:velocity) to (praram:note var) hit the pad that your sample is on, then press f5 to turn it on! from there youll have 16 different speeds to play with.
Beatz is life and life is beatz, so when you tell me to "get a life" you must mean make another beat.

Dude asked for it to still be in time, you're telling him to 16-levels it. Doesn't cut it. He want's a sample of someone singing or whatever, in time with a beat.
He needs to timestretch it so that it doesn't change length but goes up several octaves, or whatever is wanted. Either use the MPC's timestretching capabilities if you have them (I don't) or repitch a wav on a PC. SoundForge or any other sound editor can accomplish this.
