when to throw in effects and eq

i was talking about the mpc to begin with.. but thanks for everybodies advice... one thing i ask thou that is off topic, where can i find memory for my mpc2000xl without using ebay and what is the memory called.. thanks

All i gotta say is use effects sparingly and try to set them up on AUX channels in PT, record from the MPC as dry as possible.

And dont believe the myth that EQ can save a bad sound, make sure it sounds good in the first place.

Very reliable, I bought mine from here a few years ago and I havn't had any problems with it.

maybe you should have figured out how some things work and what is really needed, before spending thousands and thousands of dollars. just a thought.

i know how to record it was the mpc i was talking about.. not the plugins.. thanks for most of your inputs.. peace
