my advice is just sample everything. the asr has a excellent sampler. also i have a bunch of disks but they all suck. the only thing i use them for is high hats. so not only are disks hard to find but most of them suck for drums and bass.

i dont know what kind of music ur into but for me the disks dont do the job. they are too flat and bare. it depends on what disks u get tho. like i said mnost of them suck from experience. but didnt try all of them. but if u get ur hands on the sp1200 disk u misht find some good shit. but i have these hardsoundz disks and they are horrible. but i like my drums grimy. if u like ur drums clean then u might want to pick some disks up.

thanks butcher. i am using the mpc for drums, i was just hoping to put the keyboard into use. i want to play keyboard type sounds across the keys and am unsure if i will get the same results from a sample as i would a disk...
