Duration function is cool to use while the seq loop is playing to change up a sample.

get a good feel for where drum hits go when they on time than move em' around...step edit aint somethin you can really explain...you gotta do it a few times to get the jist of it.

I remember back in the day using a typewriter and having to practice to get my typing speed up and timing correct in order not to make mistakes. Boy was that frustrating until I got a computer and learned the editing functions in the word processor and bam I didn`t care how many mistakes I made and I could whip up a paper for the professor super fast using revised papers from previous times and changing and correcting with the editing function. I loved the word processor editing function and I was free to write whatever I wanted. Now my MPC sequencer is the same as my word processor with the step edit and seq edit function I can really create what I want mistakes and all and later correct it to perfection. I love my step and seq edit function and I`m free to program whatever I want.

step edit is my best friend........ change up the atk: thingy you might get some thin good sounding(percussion related)
