I really can't afford a Synth Keyboard...
So, since i have several sample cds, i'm thinking about getting a
USB CONTROLLER(Keyboard).

How do these work with sample CDs? or How do these work anyway?

Are these different from MIDI Controller Keyboards?

I don't get it.....some one plz help me~~

Do you have a sampler (hardware/software doesn't matter) that you can load your samples in?

The only thing a controller keyboard does is transmit MIDI data, and in the case of a USB one, it transmits midi over USB instead of midi cables.

yo get a Midiman Oxygen 8. IT is cheap and will work on the MPC 1000 and the Computer. I had one and loved it. It also has USB, but a seperate MIDI device for a computer would be better. You will use MIDI for the MPC not the devices USB.

I own that aswell. a cheap alternative to a nice controller. the keys are stiff and feel like shit to me so I just use my triton's keyboard when in need of a midi controller. the nobs and sliders are verry handy. I wouldnt recomend it but if you want one I have one for very cheep. almost never used. pm if your interested
