Dirty records

yo fam i seen a post by phatz like two months ago about cleaning dusty old vinyl but cant find it. so im restartin the thread. whats the best way to get these joints clean?

There's millions of ways (well not that many of course but still...)

I actually like them dirty, pops and clicks and all..
I only wash them if they get to the point where the needle keeps jumping out of the grooves!

I heard a lot of people just use a mixture of water and dishwasher, with a little drop of alcohol. Don't know about the proportions tho..

I got some records that sound really horrible...It's a shame because they have some reaLLY DOPE sounds....do you think cleaning them would really help improve sound quality??? Anyone notice a big change in sound quality after using some of the more hardcore methods like binger's lighter fluid tip?

goto the supermarket or convient store and cop Ronsonol lighter fluid. Use it on a record you could care less about. Then see the results.

I just take a cloth pour alcohol on it, then wipe, and call it a day

I dunno if that is the best way, but they sure do get all the dirt
