i got a question bout drum rolls but the ones im talkin bout are them high hat rolls think that " baby" song by ashanti or them kick/snare rolls like all them ATL crunk songs. I've tried doin them by hand and usin note repeat and they jus dont sound like the songs i mentioned. Some one told me theyre done wit arpegiators ?

I dont know bout that particular song but an arpdgiator will work, just depends on how you program it, or use a pre set.

I dunno what mpc ya using, but I can manually lay down my drum rolls, lots of techniques you can use, just gotta think like a drummer when your doing it

But theres alot of things out there with arpeggiators, like my motif and triton both have them along with some software out there I never use arps though, they are just basically preset midi information

Worst comes to worst just try to chop it off, or sit down and really try to recreate it it will help you in the long run
