rack samplers compatable with MPC2000XL & SoundForge7

Hey, I'm in the market for a rack mountable sampler that can transfer samples back and fourth between the MPC2000Xl & SoundForge7 via S/PIDF and or Scsi. My price range is around $600, but if I can save some money that would be nice. I was looking at the S3000XL or S3200XL, but now I'm having second thoughts after reading a post on the site. I've reserch both AKAIs as well as E-MU samplers but I need some real user opinions. Any sugtions on any low or high end samplers in this price range.

S5000 with USB option, $450-$500.

If not the S5000 or S6000, and you still wanna do the SCSI thang, then look at the S2000 or S2800. They are in-sync with the XL because they share a similar sampling engine and software design. They should be a little cheaper too.
