The ASR-10/MPC combo is a match made in heaven...I use the MPC as my sequencer...I use my ASR-10 and ASR-X Pro as my primary sampling engines. Also, be sure to check on Ebay for ASR sound CDRoms...The ASR library is thick. Good luck and have fun!
