How to make beats on the mpc book....

i seen this on the mpc-tutor site and tried to get on its mailin list for when it comes out but it wouldnt work.then i go back on days later and i cant find anything about it.anyone have a link to this?or can help me find this again ,it would be really helpfull.

I thing Jorge hit the nail on the Head there is no book coming out since tutor figured it is easier to have a dedicated site that gets updated with new info and tutorials once they're available. So all peeps who need this book get a subscription on mpc2000xl.net

so on the site....how applicable is the onfo to the MPC4000? Is it alot of general info, or is it hella specific stuff?

Not applicable at all I'm afraid (bar the odd general tutorial on production/beatmaking). It's for the MPC2000XL only.

I REMEMBER WHEN THE SITE WAS FREE NOW YOU GOTTA PAY.

it was free but there wasnt nearly as much content as there is now.. if your new to the mpc2k you cant go wrong by joining..

no this site is still free....the new site which offers much more in terms of tutorials and stuff you do have to pay for but going by the quality of tutors work im at a loss to find any alternative which does the same for free...

still tutor makes it clear that the new site is aimed at particular types of mpc user, if you feel your game is already there you shouldn't worry about the e-book and just carry on contributing to these wonderful and informative forums...

So, is the mpc2k net any good? I've thought of joining but I'm pretty advanced and dont want to pay for info I'm already familar with.

yeah its the most popular of the machines...think if the 1000 was older, or was used more by producers you would probably find it was 1k-centric but as the 2kxl is the most popular (or at least most widely used) machine it makes sense for this site to be about that machine...

they are all mpcs at the end of the day...most of the crucial functions exist in all mpc models and its just a case of translating the knowledge to your own platform...
