the only bad thing I have heard about the motif is about the small screen and how the sequecncer has sort of a learning curve. Personally I like the motif's sounds better than the triton's.

the first equipment I ever worked with was a motif. Its pretty impressive. But as far as sound. The triton is really crisp, clean and overall better because of those factors. I currently work with the triton extreme . But with the right effects manipulation, you can make the motif sound like the triton.

i owned all the workstations on the market...
phantom sux imo, motif sounds are realistic, and warm, the tritons effects are dope and it just seems more powerful

To me Tritons are the best keyboards out....Thats why I got a Triton Studio as soon as I had the money to do so....As for the Triton LE, please stay away from it....The Motif is way better then the LE....I am ashamed that Korg even put the Triton stamp on such a sh!tty keyboard like the LE!!!!

yeah these keyboard are for programming- not meant to rely on the 500 stock sounds.....that way they are well worth the money if you get into programming your own sounds...
me? i'd get niether as everyone (well in the hiphop/pop genre at least) already use one- they are getting played out (or at least the stock sounds are)

no doubt- yet you could be better off with some multisamples of those said presets...that way you save mondo-bucks...unless of course you also rely on hte internal sampler (forget now if the le has a sampler or not)
