What's up ya'll just got the word from my fiance that I have 1300 to spend on gear, what should I get. This is what I have already and this is what I want.

Have list
MPC 2000XL
Proteus 2000
Evens TR-8's
Numark TTX1 for sampling
Alesis Mixer

Want List:
ASR-10
Fantom XR
Motif ES Rack
Mo Phatt ROM

What will be a good combination of things to get for 1300. It doesn't have to be new either.

You have all the instruments required to make hiphop but what are you using to record your instruments? Look into some recording gear.

I hear what your saying but I got a 2KXL so why don't I use that and get more sounds.

Yeah man i gots to agree with the above, get yourself a cheap rompler like a TR Rack or if you really need it the Motif, and spend the rest on digging. But that takes time an effort. So, cop some weed to and go digging. Ive been hitting up different Goodwills for the past month everyday after work and my beats is rockin again, its what i was missing.
