I keep a lot of drums and sounds because I got rid of my hardware plus I get into different situations than just making music. :smoker:

Is it possible that you can invite Ill Green, I sent him a message but no reply. I figured you may have a better way to contact him. I'm sure he's a monster Loop Digga!  Also your EFX Folder on the Drum Exchange is empty.

Funny that after all these yrs of having the EMU TP I don’t remember hearing some of the sounds I’m finding. I’m taking note of sounds/samples I will later Dropbox into BM3.

Randolph has 2 “rides” folders with the same sounds in em. Clean up on aisle 5!

That is what this does, I've been find stuff, making kits, then making beats from the kits and forget to put them up.  It's also dope that, other find cool sounds, that I did not even know I had. The more I upload, the more tracks I make. I'm slicing your uploads right now!!!!!

I played back my wavs, they are super clear, just like I wanted them!

@everyone, another thing to add to this since it’s getting off the ground, let’s not upload
premium files so that we don’t get Tutor or his website in any trouble. This happened
yrs ago and I’d like for it to not happen again.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the heads up and I agree that we must stay away from loading any companies programs. Unless they are freeware and their license allow redistribution. The Ironic thing many of these sample pack sites and subscription companies are selling repackage sounds. That Micheal Jackson's "Beat It" snare is all over those places.

TIP: Chop, multi layer, and pitch all samples.

Uploaded a Live Kick, Snare, Clave, Cowbell from this Afro Cuban Session we had. They are straight off the kit, so you'll need to eq and compress as you feel. Enjoy!

I’ve been thinking about this too, and I agree 100%. @charles and @lamp, do you think the rompler section is okay?

I've only paid attention to what I was doing so far.
I am hoping people police themselves.

Those should be okay because users can make and share patches. I can load it into my rack mounts. Also those rom sounds are everywhere. The ASR X free cd I upload, they use to give them away for free at guitar centers and sam ash. Not to mention the company is debunked.

When in doubt, make drums loops, and share it them. At that point they are considered to be a song and does not break the license agreement. Now if someone was to chop up your song. There's nothing you can do to stop them from doing that.

There are companies who make a living, creating original sound sets. With the royalties of each set going to the musicians. But even for them, if the person is making music and sharing the music. Then someone come along and chop up the song and use it. There nothing they can do.

Not to mention it would be impossible enforce it. If they did, 98% of all these sample pack sites, would close down because all of them have a TR 808 Kick Drum on there somewhere. Personally, I don't like when people take sample packs and repackage it. Or when they sample an artist and sell it as the Primo or Rick Rubin sound set.

I like that Perc 99, going to use the tail end for a ride sound.
