yeah but it felt good to learn it on your own. Plus all those cats that jock video spent all that time being someone else. Most of them wanted to scratch because they saw a sprite commercial with nice trim surrounding the dj. There are far to many cats out there that own just break/battle records and nothing else, and recyle routines with some variations.

Any advice is good advice if you know where and when to apply it when doing your own ish. Especially when you consider that not everyone in this forum does hip-hop or use the mpc the same way. Its dope that people share technique (like dj videos) so you walk away with different insight or spark that helps you finish the puzzle and make something cohesive that may have been influenced but is you none the less you creation
