I use a behringer ADA8000 and an EMU 1212M. I run 4 of my 8 outs on the MPC to 4 of the inputs on the ADA8000 and 4 of my 8 outs on the ASR to the other 4 inputs on the ADA8000 and the ADAT opticals run from my ADA8000 to my 1212M for 8 mono tracks of audio and then my "sub outs" on my Behringer UB2222 run to the audio inputs of the 1212M for 2 more tracks of audio for my sound modules or electric guitar or whatever (I pan one left and one right for 2 mono tracks). This setup allows me to track 10 mono tracks at a time into Nuendo 2.0. Also depending on the song if I'm only using 1 or 2 tracks from the ASR then I'll just use the remaining inputs for the MPC and vice versa. It seems to work for me.

been doen the track biz for a while now....but honestly what are u guys talking about when you talk about tracking?

Byssagala Mon Sep 13, 2004 8:48 pm
I take it by tracking, we are talking about either putting a song/beat into final 2-track form on some sort of physical medium (cd, tape, whatever) OR recording a song into some sort of multi-track device, digital or otherwise.
In any case I use digital performer. It is a sweet package, highly recommended.
