but cats may or may not have got paid to use an mpc for a beat and talk about how they use it. its less likely cos its been around longer and its histroy in the game, but its unfair to assume that everyone talking about maschine has been paid to use it.

I see what you're saying. My dude who was basically my mentor ten years back, came over when he got back from tour and we haven't kicked it in years. I was showing him the jj os cause he was 3k and xl guy for life. When I asked what he was rocking now he laughed and said its all about the Maschine, and its his secret weapon. Dude is a beast on the beats and it has great features, but like i said its a matter of taste,

damn I hate that alot of maschine user's are making it seem like the douche machine now. i can't even defend the T/S. to say the Maschine is what's the standard because some producers (for all we know who may have been payed to promote it) say's it's dope doesn't mean it is.

I like it, but not due to NO I.d. or ski beatz are making video's using em, I could care less. I am attracted to the Maschine do to it's easy workflow and the ability to use vst's and plugins directly with it.

I am really hating telling people I want a maschine now, because the fan boi's is pissing on everyone and their equipment. the MPC is still king amongst producers and rightfully so, but I am down to move with the tide and try new things out until I find the proper product for me. but bashing a MPC OOONNNN a MPC forum is just asking for trouble,

might as well go wear blue in a piru hood in Cali.

No doubt. I remember dabbling around w/ one of those joints at GC. Completely ridiculous. I like everything from the LED pads to the interface. Seriously thinking about getting one in the future.

Still though. Love the 2KXL to death.

A sponsored event is supposed to promote their product. I went to a Smirnoff party a week ago. Everyone drank Smirnoff. I guess they could have made a commercial letting the world know their liquor tasted so great no one wanted to drink anything else... haha
All jokes aside, if my MPC broke, I would get the Maschine. Akai would have to come out with something better than my 2500, and cheaper than $499 for me to reconsider, and we know that ain't gonna happen..

i find it amazing that the sole criticism most bring up is that maschine aint standalone when most peeps track into pro tools or logic anyhow.

most of u use pcs and vsts in some capacity and prolly u use ur mpc close to ur pc so the the fact maschine is not standalone is a minor.

i can understand if u use ur pcs out live but even then many of ur djs use serato or a laptop for ur dj sets so plugging in a maschine is no biggie.

The epitome of hypocrisy...

How the **** did most of the cats out there hear about the MPC in the first place... And you got the balls to say you don't use it because other producers do? gtfoh

I'm not trying to be a douche I just AM one. Shits natural :D
