Curious where they get there bass from.

I feel you on that one... I had some success getting a similar sound to J Dilla's bass sounds... I got some Analog Bass sounds from a sample CD... Not sure what they were sampled from... Then I layered it with some 808 bass tones on my MPC at 0 Frequency... it created a real phat sound for me to start from... At that point I just played around with compression and effects... It definitely had a J Dilla feel.... Try it out man.

I keep telling people about Dilla... he's the truth.

ive turned hella locals onto frank n dank. they love that sh!t (were talkin str8 bay area fools that only listen to e40, celly cel, 2pac, and jt tha bigga figga). all dilla production.
