You could sample old analog things.
But I believe that glitch music is purposely named after circuit bending vintage cheapies for a reason.
(And PLEASE for gods sakes, vintage CHEAPIES for a REASON!)
You can get a really nice bent 707/727 in the neighborhood of 5-6 hundred on ebay.
I reckon that it doesn't matter a hell of a lot what machine it is besides the interface after its glitched.
Classic 80's rolands have the best interface IMO.
(Which ironically became one of the most useless interfaces on the earth somewhere in the 90's.)
