whatever quantie setting you leave in the timing correct screen is what all events will be recorded with (on upgraded 60 & 3k)

this is exactly the answer i was looking for. so, just to re-clarify, if on "sequence 2" i change the swing on "track 1" to 56%, that swing will also apply to let's say, "track 3", if I record it "after" track 1? Or is it as somebody said before, it's just at that amount because that's what I left it at last (track 1), but it won't actually be 56% (remaining at the usual 50%)? But, if I record track 2 before track 1, the change to track 1 won't affect track 2, right.

I know I sound confusing as hell, but that's the only way I can explain it.

the timing correct setting only affects the one particular track you are recording on. you can have hats recorded on track one at 56% and hats on track two at 66%. each track can have its own swing setting.

YEs Remedial, that's right.

The quantize setting is for all incoming notes, so if you go and shift some other notes and leave the quantize setting at swing 66, all incoming notes will have that quantizing until you change it, even if you switch tracks sequences, songs.
the move existing quantizing can't effect a whole sequence. it will only go as large as one whole track, and as small as one note in one particular place. Each note, or more useful, each instrument sound within one track can have different quantization settings.

Hi there!

I've this question (I use a 2k):
1 I record a track (track01).
2 I set a swing factor for this track (track01) to 60% and I apply it I can ear the result.
3 If I dislike the result and i want to change the amount of swing (ie I want to set it to 50%, I want the track sounds neutral) I don't have the right result...

how can I apply different swing settings on the same track in order to listen to the different results?

Thanks a lot
ciao
