sometimes simple beats are cool, i guess it makes u listen more to the words but in the case of drop it like its hot and the neptunes, i think they just ran out of ideas for new chords n notes on their beats, they already established producers so they no they can get away with it.

while were on the simple beats topic, did yall hear the Jarule ft fat joe n jadakiss "NewYork " joint. Simple ass beat but im bumping the shit out of it and i just cant help but feel the song.

my sentiments exactly, no hi hats, but you got a spray paint can going. tht dont sound like they running out of ideas to me. sounds the exact opposite. grinding was poppijng every where as well.

but on the same hand, the big names in the industry, do carry it as well, if a no body had to do chit like tht, yhey would be clowned at. some big high risk label will only to the chance to sign u. while estab... beat makers could more take risks cause they made already. unless you came so f. ing different they would have no choice bbut to sign you.
