the buchannons joint was hot it was also jacked cuz i remember canibus had the joint for his first album but in the world of hip hop we know new fans grow everyday and some people dont have extensive knowledge where a beat originated from, or sample for that matter all that matters is if its hot and how does the new rendition sound. P.s.a. by just blaze was crazy to me the first time i heard it, i caught the crazy goosebumps from the sample and liked it the way it was, maybe this is why he left it like that and it wasnt laziness.

shit was real tight. i was just a little dissapointed in it thats all. U hear some real fire like that, then peep the og and hear it barely untouched to make the beat and ur like damn that was too easy.

the same sample was used on tracy lee's joint feat. biggie which i think was the best one of the 3 between canibus ish and jayz... and i feel the loop theory but sometimes a loop is hot just as a loop, you still have to bring the loop alive by adding some crazy drums and what not... you can do that and have a trash beat with a loop that had mad potential and just blaze in my opinion brings out the best out of a sample...

what is the sample used in "safe to say" while we on the subject of his samples?

i like that mfsb sample better on that canibus song. that was canibus's best song. i remember buggin off that 12" when we got the promo. he was supposed to be the next best thing...then he faded.
