i've been tampering with reCycly for a while and almost becoming handy with it.....but now, I want how to use it effectively for this technique:

Utimately, I want to remix an 'oldie goldie' track......you know what i'm taking 'bout, right? Those Arethra Franklins, Tina Turner, Temptations tracks where the voice are pitched high and has a Hip-Hop beat to it........

I tried it, but my samples are always off.........what am I doing wrong? my sound are too choppy and generic.......what's a better technique to get them samples to flow smoothly over a Hip-Hop beat........? I usually work in 80-140bpm on tracks.......

any timestrecthing is destructive, cause its adding data that wasnt previously there.

Logic has a time stretch - just make a copy of the region it before you time stretch :roll:
