This was a pretty cool video. I like how Kanye was speaking some real ish on the humble. It's dope just to watch producers work. I don't care if he was explaining how to make a beat or not. It was cool just to see a big name go through the process that all of us here do.

Yeah, a CD of samples from my man, he's got a crazy record collection, pre looped beats and shyt, thats how I produce, I just get other people to dig and chop hot vinyl for me and put it together. No wonder he uses such blatent records, no one is gonna give you top secret gold for any price. They just be on some "here, clear this you rich motherfukker!"

^^Ha ha, word. That was pretty corny right there.

He's just like these corny internet producers who sample off of pure cd's. I mean it's cool and all now and then but dig for some vinyl dammit! You'll find some of the best stuff there.

Oh yeah, gotta love when he was talking about using the same drums for all those tracks.

This guy is lazy...wonder why 9th Wonder hasn't made one of these types of videos? Yeah, true, sitting in front of a laptop with no midi controller is pretty boring to watch. It would probably just look like he was writing a paper.

Yea I thought the cd full of samples from his man was corny also. Come on now. I guess when one has money like Kanye you can pay someone to dig for samples for you. Lame

I was very surprised he admitted that. But hey...if Ludacris can pay someone just to keep fresh recharged batteries in his gameboy, I guess Kanye can pay someone to dig for him.

I guess for those of you that don't know Kanye has a pretty ill collection. But the flip side is once you get that big you start meeting a lot of people with ill record collections like he said, but that comes from diggin. The place where I buy my records the ownwer is like 80,000+ in his personal not for sale colection. So you best beleive if I had paper like kanye that I would start diggin at his house for gems. Think about it beatminer, premo and pete rock have shared records so whats do diffrent from kanye doing it. Stop net haiting.

Dude was real mellow and had some good things to say. Man, hate to say it but I actually felt a little envious..It must be nice to wake up, head to the spot and lounge out in a big space surrounded by your favorite toys and make a few tracks in a day, without time or financial restrictions. Oh well, maybe someday  ..... 5000 8)

I'm not hating, but I rather go diggin myself. How much pride can one take when someone else is finding your samples for you. I'm envious also. I wish I could wake up start makin beats, writing rhymes, networking, and what not, and to top it off get paid beyond my wildest dreams. don't get me wrong i enjoy alot fo kanyes music. But for me personally i couldn't take pride in using samples someone else dug for, but the flip side to the coin is I'm sure hes a busy man on top of it.

It's not like finding a sample is rocket science. So what if kanye has a guy getting his samples together on a cd? Sure I prefer to get my own samples he must not want to, nice to have that kind of luxury. Must be nice to have employees. The one thing I thought was funny when he was like this may not sound good now but wait till his man puts all his live instrumentation over it.

Payin someone to dig for you is like paying someone to f u c k your groupies. having it all on a cd pre looped and shyt? corny. How you not gonna have time to dig when you're a producer?

corny.
