do you have xp? if so you can use windows movie maker, i believe that can select different sources for sound and video. when you say you have the same kick on pads one and two, are they exactly the same, as in filter settings, attack etc.?

cheers man.

have you got an audio interface for your pc? if so, windows movie maker can use that, comes out pretty smooth in my experience. that way you can hook up your mixer or what ever directly to it, like you were tracking out beats. of course you'll need a mic plugged into the mixer too, so we can hear what you say, if anything.

yeah man I got a tascam fw1804.. so its also hooked into the fw port on my pc...
the option to select the audio device is greyed out cos the camera is using the firewire connection? i dunno but its def greyed out.

I figured out I can run audition 1 and movie maker at the same time and then line them up later in premiere... but thats a fkn pain 2 cos premiere only cuts at 25fps!!! fkkkkk this movie shit, this is why I do sound.... hehe

ill see how I go as soon as I geet a chance..
peace

really? i didn't know that. in my movie maker, i can use my webcam as the video input, and then switch the audio from the webcam's mic, which is shit, to something else if i want to. strange why yours doesn't. unless it only has asio drivers, but i shouldn't think so. have you changed any settings so that windows does not map audio through it? (as opposed to audio programs)

Pez

Nice Vid. You can set a pad to full-level by setting the V->level control in the program to 0 (i.e. the pad velocity has 0 effect on the output level).

At least that's how I do it on the 1K (it's on the same page as the level envelope). Not sure where the equivalent is on the 4K.

depending on your camera, you could take a line from your mixer into an audio line input or mic input of your camera. record to tape then digitize to premier.
