Blaze makes good commercial beats to rap over. RJ makes music with his sampler. Theres a difference.

please, no new jack posts on these boards. just blaze uses an mpc4000 and digs for every one of his samples. no matter what "label" you use to describe him the beats are amazing, and better then 95% of "underground" producers. period

Eat a dik up. New Jack? If you were in person I would smack you. You dont know me nor how long I been into this ish. Just Blaze is mediocre at best. Ride his jock if you will, I could care less. Just keep my name out your mouth Jr.

I heard the Freeway album and it was dissapointing as ****, he doesnt deserve to be signed to the ROC. I like the blueprint albums but mostly because of Kanye and the Neptunes contributions. Just Blaze is overrated. Argue if you will but dont ever question my authenticity because of an opinion. Perhaps my initial post was a little out of line they both make music but RJ makes dope instrumental pieces and Just Blaze makes beats to rap over. Theres really no need for comparison, they do different things and appeal to different markets.

Your opinions are like assholes, youre all full of sh!t

OK, don't hate me, but the forums are here for us to voice our opinions right? Well, here's mine. Just Blaze is dope, but INCONSISTENT. RJD2... dope, and VERY consistent. Nuff said.

I will take Just Blaze over Rjd2 any day........as a matter-of-fact isn't Rjd2 a member here?.....i think thatz cool but but my ears makes all the choices.......it seems to me like rjd2 makes music just to be different from others not to make classics.....JB has classics.......please do not turn this into a thread of arguments or i will lock this post......i don't want this to get out of hand.......

RJD2 kills it! His songs have great buildups and have a uniqeness that make them timeless. I've played his shit to so many heads, 60 year olds to teens and everybody feels it.

I can't comment on JB that much, no doubt he's got skill, but they are tracks very much of the time, and not What I'd say will hold up for decades.

Prah, you might be the Just Blaze expert, that track "one for peedi crack" didn't the melody sound like a blatant liquid swords ripoff? Flipside sounds like a sped up neptunes beat... I like just blaze but he's hit or miss, he has stuff I don't like sometimes, like that memph bleek joint "round here"... I never heard a RJ track that sounded bad but I am sure they exist... nobody's perfect... except DJ SHADOW... :D (WATCH THE HATERS SWARM TO THE POST...)

I can see where you are coming from....but in the game "the early bird gets the worm"........how do you think Just Blaze get all this work??....why he does beatz for ppl with short money(i.e. 24k,tragedy khadafi, etc.) he is not trying to let you take food out of his mouth..........most cats on here can afford to say that they won't conform and ones that don't conform they don't get a lot of work......
