Hi-Hats: Before, After, or During?

How is that "next level"??? It doesn't matter how you recorded it, what matters most is how it sounds when your FINISHED with it.....

Has anyone heard the second disc of DJ Shadow's last CD "The Private Press".
It's called "Pushin' Buttons Live" It's Shadow Featuring Cut Chemist and DJ Nu-mark back in late 2001 at the Root down in L.A.

They do a Mantronix cover of "Listen to the Bass", it's real ill.

You could record playing to one track, Then Copy it to 3 other tracks.
Then go in Step mode and delete what you don't want on each track.

i.e. delete the Snr and Hat pads on Tr-01, Kik and Hat on Tr-02, etc....

That way you could have a live feel but still multitracked, It may take some time but.
