I'm pretty sure the book store is on the same corner as the restaurant that is supposed to be set in the 60's. I think that's the same corner with the McDonalds and Tower.

I actually stumbled on the used book shop with the records, and also hit the main spot, but there's some R7B record shop, jim's RnB or some thing that is supposed to be hot. Gotta check that next time I'm in the area.

check out "half priced books" they got hella vinyl. catagorized too and cheap.

favorite record on the list: "SUITE FROM THE NUTCRACKER:Tchaikovsky" there are tons of these they all got differant characteristic. i luv anything from "Vivaldi" as well....these guys are composers so there are tons of orchestras and symphonies that do thier works; i usually try to find the major label so the O.G. recording is good.

i hit up good will as much as possible, so far i just get vinyl...but i found a decent guitar amp a while back...still checking for those synths! I love it though cause around here nobody samples, and check out ladies are like "what the **** does he want with a sesame street record?!"

Yeah theres the book store on South Street and Retrospect on South Street as well... Dollar vinyl... Fitty Cent 45's... Retrospect is nice... It's a store that carries all old retro clothes and furniture... In the back is vinyl...

Cue is the spot although now they mostly have re-issues and originals can get pricey... For hip-hop they are the best as well as Spaceboy... Spaceboy is a punk rock CD store wit a nice hip-hop section... Small, but some rare sh*t there...

Philadelphia Record Exchange on 5th street right off of south has mad vinyl... Can be pricey, but worth it... Found some Augustus Pablo there and tons and tons of psychadelic rock there... I have like every Vanilla Fudge album thanks to that store...

Yeah the record exchange was the first spot I checked, I came back with 40 joints for $6. Gotta love that.

Man, Next time I go I gotta check this thread, lit's a vinyl in Philly within walking distance from south Street.

I can't give away all my favorites though

I'm a big fan of early 70's vietnam-era funk soul and jazz.
